what we ordered | sausage pizza | ricotta and spinach pizza taste | pizza flavors were solid. i liked the ricotta and spinach. just wish the sausage had another topping with it. service | workers were nice. they cooked new fresh pizzas when we were asking for certain flavors parking | street
This place is great, they have slices and you get get whole pies. Inside is clean and fresh. I love their pizza and would recommend this place to friends and family.

I cheated. I'm a bad person. I've been going to Enzo's down the street since probably 2012 after a not great experience at Lamonica's many years ago. I don't know what it was, but something called me back to Lamonica's today after over a decade. Oh. My. Stars. What an amazing pizza. WOW! I came in originally planning to grab a slice and then to head down the street for salad, but after devouring my first slice, I went up and ordered another. The crust is crispy on the bottom to perfection. (Note: my actual crust was burnt, so I wasn't able to eat in. Minus a half a star for that.) I appreciated that they use real cheese in the Parmesan shakers, not that fake cheese that many places use. One thing to note: they don't appear to have weekday lunch specials anymore like some of the photos show? A cheese slice (cash) is $4.93, so a little steep since the slices aren't huge. There is a 3% fee for using a card. Personality of the cashier is nonexistent -- so between the burnt crust, tiny slice size and lack of service -- it could be a five star experience with a few changes. I am really happy that I gave this place another try after so long. 2024: 35/100
I've loved the pizza at Lamonicas since I moved to LA from NYC- It's always super tasty and holds up to a city slice! I went in tonight right as they were closing and received the best two slices I've had since I moved to the west coast. The dough was both airy and crusty, and the cheese melty and delicious. I want to emphasize that the service I received was incredible. Everyone who worked there was so kind and so thoughtful- 10/10.
This is the go to spot in West LA for pizza. The pizza is very good quality probably one of the closest to actual NY pizza. Pro tip - ask for the pizza extra crispy. Wings are also top notch. Service is very fast and the establishment is clean. Definite recommend!
